Hi, I’m Shayna — the maker behind Wildhearth Co.

I started this business with candles. After realizing how much soot and wax buildup was collecting in our home’s air filter, I knew we were breathing in things we shouldn’t be. I wanted something safer for my family, so I started making my own clean-burning candles using coconut-soy wax and beeswax blends. Phthalate free fragrances. No harsh ingredients. Just something simple that actually felt good to use.

Six months later, skincare came into the picture. My son was diagnosed with eczema when he was just six months old, and I found myself reading every label on the shelf. Most products were either full of unnecessary fillers or didn’t actually work — so I started making my own. The first thing I created was a whipped mango butter balm. It worked. And now it’s become a favorite.

Selling sourdough on WildHearth came more recently. I started baking for my family in 2021, and then friends and coworkers started asking if they could get a loaf. It grew from there. Now it’s a core part of what I do, and honestly, one of the parts I love most.
